Antihypertensives

More formally, antihypertensive agents are a class of medications whose primary therapeutic purpose is to reduce elevated arterial blood pressure and thereby decrease the risk of cardiovascular, cerebrovascular, and renal complications of hypertension. They include multiple drug classes (such as diuretics, ACE inhibitors, ARBs, beta‑blockers, calcium channel blockers, and others), all sharing the common goal of bringing blood pressure into a safer range. The following is a list of Antihypertensives.
