It is a prostaglandin receptor agonist which is approved to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension in Asia. It has a role as a vasodilator agent, a platelet aggregation inhibitor, an antihypertensive agent, a prostaglandin receptor agonist and an anti-inflammatory agent.
