At apicule (www.apicule.com), we are committed to maintaining transparency, protecting intellectual property, respecting supplier rights, and complying with international copyright and data governance laws. This policy explains how we manage ownership, attribution, supplier data, content licensing, and user-generated information.

1. Ownership of Platform Content

All original written content, curated API lists, supplier directories, regulatory classifications, platform layouts, user interfaces, and pharmaceutical trade insights on apicule are the exclusive intellectual property of apicule, unless otherwise stated.

  • Unauthorized scraping, reproduction, redistribution, or use of this data for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited.
  • The unique compilation, structuring, formatting, and curation of all publicly collected or voluntarily shared supplier data is proprietary to apicule, even if some of the base data is publicly accessible.

2. Use of Public Scientific Resources (PubChem Attribution)

We use molecular structure images and compound information from PubChem under public domain access (17 U.S.C. § 105). These images are used solely for reference and are not modified.

3. Use of Third-Party Visuals and Images

apicule may display general facility images, office buildings, or pharmaceutical plant visuals sourced from open-access platforms or public web searches (e.g., Google Images) for representational purposes only.

  • We do not use company logos unless authorized.
  • We make no claims of partnership, endorsement, or affiliation unless explicitly stated on the supplier profile.

If any image on our site violates copyright or was used unknowingly without appropriate attribution, please notify us at 📧 [email protected] — Subject: Image Removal Request. We will remove or credit such images promptly.

4. Supplier Information Collection & Usage Policy

apicule lists suppliers based on:

  • Voluntary submissions from suppliers
  • Direct communication (email, phone, trade shows, onboarding)
  • Open-source and publicly accessible records

The following data types are displayed:

  • Supplier name
  • APIs manufactured or supplied
  • Grades, forms, storage conditions, and certification types (e.g., GMP, DMF, CEP)
  • Basic company information (e.g., phone, email, country, facility image)

apicule does not upload or share full confidential documents (such as CoAs, DMFs, or audit reports) publicly. We only confirm their availability based on supplier communication.

If your company is listed and you wish to update, modify, or remove your data, please contact us at 📧 [email protected] — Subject: Supplier Data Request – [Your Company Name].

5. Client-Submitted Data Usage

Clients submitting inquiries, RFQs, or documents to apicule retain ownership of their materials. However, by contacting us, clients grant apicule a limited license to internally use that data to:

  • Match suppliers
  • Generate quotations
  • Improve business development and sourcing outcomes

Client-submitted data is not shared or published without explicit consent.

6. Access Restrictions and Subscription Model

apicule retains the right to restrict full access to curated supplier profiles, product-level details, and certification statuses through a paid subscription model. Free users may view limited basic data.

This structure allows apicule to maintain accuracy, quality control, and protect supplier information from misuse or unverified extraction.

7. Verified & Trusted Supplier Tags

Suppliers who have successfully closed transactions through apicule and completed necessary verification processes may be marked as:

  • Verified – after verification of documents
  • Trusted – based on history of compliant engagement or audits or successful trades

These tags are applied solely at apicule’s discretion and based on platform-recorded activity.

8. Protection Against Unauthorized Use

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Automated scraping or data extraction from apicule
  • Republishing supplier information without consent
