Supplier Description: Consolidated Pharmaceutical Group Inc. operated a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility where antibiotics were previously manufactured; however, the plant has since been closed. At the time of closure, various materials remained in the facility’s vessels and storage tanks, including hydrochloric acid, acetone, alcohol–water mixtures, triethylamine, and other liquids stored in approximately twenty onsite tanks. In addition, more than one hundred drums containing acids, bases, solvents, and alcohols were present within the building. The owner has been actively working to remove these materials from the site. Hydrochloric acid from Tank 110, triethylamine from Tank 111, and three dumpsters of off-specification antibiotics that had been manufactured at the facility have already been removed and disposed of offsite in accordance with regulatory requirements. The facility’s laboratory and maintenance shop have also been cleaned by the responsible party, and additional waste shipments are scheduled for removal in the coming weeks. - Show More
